Our POS Project Coordinators work in a stable team environment, implementing complete POS systems and ensuring clients receive the highest, most consistent level of service. This position provides error-free help-desk and on-site support based on knowledge gained through hands-on training and supportive, development-based coaching.



General responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Service: Coordinating point of sale system installation and training for local and non-local clients (occasional overnight travel)
• Autonomy: Creating and/or editing POS databases, taking ownership for individual projects
Coordination: System Staging and Setup, Shipping and Receiving, and Inventory Control
Connecting: Working on-site at the client's business location for "Live Day" support the first time they use their new POS system
Communication: Documenting and reporting any known problems with equipment or staging processes
Teamwork: Provide after-hours (nights and weekends) help-desk support as part of a 24/7 rotation (work from home with provided equipment)
Knowledge: Maintain technical knowledge and expertise associated with multiple software products; applications and hardware specific to customer solutions


Requirements

  • Travel to local and non-local client locations to perform system installations, client training, and “live” day system management
  • Participate in after-hours help desk support as required
  • Complete computer-based work, often for extended periods of time
  • · Must be able to sit, stand, bend, squat, reach, climb and walk

    · Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds

    · Must be able to work flexible hours business dictates daily including off-site, on-call periods

    · Must be a licensed driver, have access to reliable, insured vehicle and be willing to travel in order to complete assigned tasks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Must communicate professionally with all management, co-workers, clients and vendors
  • Must represent company professionally and positively at all times
  • Must be open-minded and responsive to suggestions and criticisms regarding work performance
  • Must be able to read, write, understand and verbalize the English language
  • Coordinate installation and client training on POS solutions with client and Project Coordinator
  • Work directly with client to collect all information required to write client database(s)
  • Create and/or edit of databases
  • Review all menu programming for approval before installation and live day.
  • Perform on-site support and training at the client’s business location for “Live Day” support
  • Provide expert help desk phone support to existing clients, and participate in after-hours help desk support rotation
  • Understand, assess and support client needs on a continual basis

Hardware / Software experience helpful:

  • POS-X, Epson, HP, Cisco, Honeywell (barcode scanners), iPads, Windows tablets, CAS Scales
  • Windows 7 Pro, 8.1
  • SQL Server 2008 R2
  • LogMeIn Central and Rescue
