The Public Health Grants and Finance Specialist is responsible for providing grants and finance supports for the Cumberland County Public Health Department.   This position is responsible for supporting public health staff with the creation and management of grant budgets and grant proposal submissions as well as conducting the financial functions of the small Public Health Department.  Financial functions include budget management, payment of obligations, invoicing and financial reporting. The position is embedded within the Public Health Department but works closely with the Cumberland County Finance Department.

The chosen candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• Five (5) years minimum working in a finance, budgeting, or grants administration related position.
• Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in finance,    
• accounting, data collection or related field preferable.
• Courses in business administration, finance, accounting, budgeting, non-profit finance, and/or communications preferable.
• Experience in MUNIS preferable.
• MS Excel and MS Word.

This position is 40 hours per week, with a full benefits package. Pay is commensurate with experience.
