Global Maritime Transportation Services, Inc., provides software and acts as a third party service provider to the ocean transportation industry.
General Summary: Provides customer service support to the organization by retrieving, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of filing requests in a timely manner. Initiates and/or implements corrective action as needed to ensure that an excellent standard of service and accuracy and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
CORE FUNCTIONS:
- Receives processes and verifies in a timely fashion, the accuracy of information for all filing requests including compliancy of filing requests for rates and contracts from customers utilizing the organization’s proprietary software.
- Ensures and provides quality service to both internal and external customers.
- Initiates required action for response to customer service requests for filing changes, including the maintenance of order/customer profile information and communicates changes/updates to the appropriate personnel/departments.
- Participates and provides expertise as a member of the CSR team. The team’s objectives are to develop and recommend changes to existing methods and systems to increase accuracy, efficiency and responsiveness of the customer service department as a whole. This includes;
o Reporting company hardware issues in a timely manner o Participating in cross functional teams o Participating in product testing o Participating in Help Desk o Participating in Sales/Demos o Participating in Special Projects o Provides prompt, courteous and accurate customer exchanges

- Reports directly to the Customer Service Manager
